Timing Tool Set - Jaguar/Land Rover 4.0 & 4.2 V8

Jaguar petrol engines (up to 2010) are robust and in the main a reliable engine. However as their age increases (and with it their mileage) we have had reports of timing chain and head gasket problems. This kit includes a pair of camshaft locking bridges, a front pulley puller, a camshaft pulley holding tool and a crankshaft locking pin. The crankshaft locking pin has been specially designed in-house to combine two OEM tool designs, therefore extending the applications of the kit. Specifically introduced for pre 2010 4.0 and 4.2L V8 petrol engines fitted with timing chains.

Application pre 2010 models including Daimler V8, Sport 4.0, 3.2, 4.2 and 3.5L; Jaguar S type, XJ8, XJR, XK8 and XKR.
Engine codes: AC, BC, CC, CE, DC, EC, GC, HB, KC, LB, LC, NB, NC, PA, PC, RB, SB, TB, 1B and 3B.
Also fits Jaguar engines fitted to Land Rover Discovery 3 and Range Rover 4.2L Supercharged 4.4L with engine codes 4PN and 428PS.
The crankshaft locking pin has been especially designed to combine 2 OEM designs into one tool.
